Well, you guys, I'm sobbing uncontrollably now. All I did was take my daughter to the orthodontist, and then for some post-orthodontic-trauma retail therapy, and when I get back this has happened!

Truly, I'm so touched by such a response. Thank you very, very much. As for signed copies, there's not much I can do till nearer the time, but maybe in a bookshop near you...? It's all rather weird, as I haven't the faintest idea how these things are done, or how many, but I'm hoping to keep my website reasonably up to date with it all. Sheila, you might say so, I couldn't possibly comment... Greenwich, yes please. I can even get there on my bike! I didn't know there was one there - have been trekking to Bromley when my locals couldn't help.

Oh, Emma, the Bromley one is bigger, I think, but the Greenwich branch seems to have regular signings, etc. It's on the corner of the little alleyway that leads down to the DLR, next to the M&S.

I don't think it matters who signed last, but I think Greenwich may be a bit more upmarket. As you are in London there are lots of outlets to get to easily. I am really looking forward to your reading, and by the way, I don't mind if it is not a wooden leg.

I'd go to Bromley for Babs. A very interesting woman and a fine actor - a real star, with many stories to tell. Let's hope one day she writes the real McCoy.
