Greetings all,
Just about to submit a non-fiction proposal to some agents and wondered if anyone had any 'insider knowledge' on any of the following agents:
Lorelli Belli
Sayle Literary Agency (I know they have moved out of London to Cambridge recently)
Robin Wade
Theresa Chris
Capel & Land
Jane Judd
Obviously I'm looking for comments within the bounds of libel law, but any nuggets of useful information, good or bad, would be welcome.
In particular I am looking for a good agent who operates well for both fiction and non-fiction as my next project is a novel, therefore any recommendations beyond the above?
Thanks

Sibelius,
I know Lorella Belli very well. She used to work for Pollingers then set up on her own. She's basically a very nice person, very straight to deal with and refreshingly free of the melodramatic antics of some agents. Her personal tastes, as I recall, are more towards literary fiction. I think she's still a one-woman agency, so will probably not take on too many new writers.
Terry
P.S. Loved your fifth!

I'm sure you're aware of the basic difference between fiction and non-fiction. If you're a new writer, you need to have finished your novel before approaching an agent. But non-fiction works on the basis of writing a proposal before writing the book.

Thanks Terry,
And yes, I'm quite proud of the fifth, got a thing for the second and in purely musical terms have to go for the fourth...
Can't stand Finlandia though, don't know what I was drinking that week...
