This thread:
http://www.writewords.org.uk/forum/48_436021.asp reminded me that I'm going to be on a panel at a writers' event next weekend, talking about 'Selling Your Work'. I'm going to talk about working with publishers and agents, and about what it takes to write successful publisher-led fiction. I'm the only novelist, there's a screenwriter and a playwright who will have different things to talk about of course.
I wondered if anyone - self-published, conventionally published, whatever - had views they would like to share about this so I have a wider field of experience to tell the audience about.
