Yes, I agree with what's been said - and I do know some people who've been involved with this particular company. I strongly advise that contributory publishing be avoided - you'll have a much better time AND be more in control if you self-publish.
Whatever happens, good luck with it - and send the stuff out elsewhere!!

Try SilverWood Publishers in Bristol
1. They don't make promises they can't keep.
2. They listen!
3. Their books are superb and they are very professional.
4. They are not, definitely not, Vanity Publishers. They are interested in new authors and will respect them. Their CEO is a practising writer herself who's had to fight the same battles as most authors. She understands!
Wishing you every success,
Chris

I would agree with those who say this is probably a scam. I know how depressing that must feel, and I really sympathise. There are so many rip-off merchants out there. I've just done a MS critique for someone, and it turns out that he'd previously had his manuscript 'professionally edited' by some outfit called WL Children's Agency, who he's now discovered have a great reputation for ripping people off - I Googled them and came up with all kinds of threads talking about how awful they are. And they hadn't even tried to edit that manuscript. It was just shocking. But how is someone who's new to writing and hasn't a clue about publishing, meant to know who to trust? I would check them out thoroughly before sending them a penny.
