There's an interview with a group of literary journal editors over at the Emerging Writers Network. One of the editors is our own Carrie Berry of Bonfire and Gator Springs Gazette fame. The others are Mike Czyzniewjewski of Mid-American Review, Rusty Barnes of Night Train, Linda Swanson-Davies of Glimmer Train, Leelila Strogov of Swink Magazine, R.A. Miller of Arriviste Press, Jill Adams of Barcelona Review, Peter Conners of Double Room, and Brock Clarke of Cincinnati Review.

You can read the interview at: http://www.breaktech.net/EmergingWritersForum/View_Interview.aspx?id=140

Speaking of Gator Springs Gazette, I received this year's issue 3 last week. It's the first in the new perfect-bound quarterly format, looks stunning, and has my short story "The Potato", which was shortlisted last December in their fiction contest. It's a gorgeous issue and I'm very proud to be rubbing metaphorical shoulders with the other writers in it!

Congratulations, Ani. It’s a great story.

I got my GSG too. What an improvement on the old style. Definitely something you’d want to keep on your bookshelves.

It IS beautiful. And I love the haiga art and poetry in it. I thought GSG looked good before, but this new format is really excellent.

Didn't you love the art work / photograph in the last issue with that little wooden figure?

    Oh yes!

We have one of those little guys on the landing windowsill, from where he enjoys the view and waves to passing traffic.
