Hi everyone! I have just finished writing a novel called Tollesbury Time Forever. It tells the story of Simon Gregory, a Beatles obsessed alcoholic with a diagnosis of schizophrenia and a love of cricket. It relates his battle with his illness and society in his quest to be reunited with the son he abandoned twenty four years ago. I have started a blog to chronicle the ups and downs of trying to get the book published and would be grateful for any advice/comments!

After working for the past two years on my novel, I'm not too far off the beginning of the publishing quest, so I'll follow your progress with keen interest.

Thanks so much for the reply. I have sent the novel off to six agents so far. All have wanted a synopsis, the first three chapters and a covering letter containing brief biographical details and a brief summary of the book. It' s a very weird feeling sending it out there to be judged by people you may never meet yet they seemingly hold all the cards!
