Writing Children's Books and Getting Published
    Village Hall, Rodmell
    Price: £50

This intensive one-day workshop is for anyone who wants to learn about writing children's books and trying to get published. We will cover topics such as developing a strong plot, using language effectively, creating memorable characters, and tips on trying to get published. With a combination of group discussion and writing exercises, we will discuss picture books, early chapter books and writing for teens. Whether you are already an experienced writer for children or have always felt it was something you wanted to try, this could be the perfect way to develop your writing aspirations.

The workshop will take place in the picturesque village of Rodmell, once home to Virginia Woolf, just three miles south of Lewes (near Brighton). The session will be held in the the Village Hall (parking available). To keep the price as low as possible, I'm asking people to bring their own lunch. Advice available if you wish to book accommodation - please contact me to discuss details and to book your place:
