Hi,
Has anyone had any recent experience of response times from this Literary Agency?

It's just that I seems to have been waiting forever. (4 weeks LOL)

I've not heard of them but 4 weeks is nothing.. unless they've stipulated an 'exclusive' time to you.

if you had said months even then I should not have been suprised, if you are writing to get published you need patience resilience and fortitude,

as the songs said the road is long with many a winding turn etc etc

The question was merely asked due to their two-week response from a previous submittal.

That was not successful, so maybe the story tells itself.

Just to add to this thread about response times from agents etc- 4 weeks is nothing, but it can feel like forever when you're the one expecting a response. Always a good idea to ask when submitting what the average time is, and then add on 2 weeks and gently remind/enquire. And do let us know, as always, about your experiences- we'll add them- as long as they're polite!- into our Directory. Good luck in the future.

I just tell myself that the longer they have it, the more they are reading and discussing it. Misguided optimism perhaps, but it stops me bolting for the door every time the post flap goes.

It could have something to do with the unofficial postal strike in the London area at the moment... just a thought...
