A L Kennedy on the pain of waiting to hear - and this is her thirteenth novel and she's not exactly an unknown/newbie....!

I wonder if she would've written about it if the novel had not been accepted in the end?!

She's judging the Bridport this year, so she'll get to inflict something of the same anxiety on a couple of thousand people worldwide.

I've met her! She's a visiting / honorary/ whatever-you-call-it writer at Warwick.
