  • What makes a good pitch?
by Samuraipanda at 00:40 on 28 January 2005
I've had a huge interest in my series of scripts that I am writing and they have asked me to send in a copy of the script and include a pitch. Please can someone explain what makes a good pithc and how I would go about writing it?

For me a pitch is a meeting where you pitch your idea to potential producers. Al T has posted something about the elevator pitch (if you try the forum search) Otherwise there are treatments and outlines (i have posted links in the Film & TV forum if you look throught the archives). I'd call the co and ask them what they want - how many pages and then adapt your synopsis/treatment/outline to suit their requirements.

    Hope this helps
