Does anyone know anythng about this? I have registered on their site (www.sporebook.org) and am looking to submit some work to them for inclusion in one oftheir new 3 dimensional book projects. It all seems very interesting, but I gatehr it is non-profit making. Their forums are not very well attended at the moment, but I guess the Spoebookk Project is a new company.

Does anyone think this new format has got potential? I like the community based concept. Could be another Twitter

Sounds like fan fiction for ebooks.
The ebook market is still finding it's feet. The site looks like a high concept idea that is a decade ahead of it's time. Maybe something for the future.

I'm going to go for it anyway, I think. I'll have some fun putting something together. I guess it all depends on the traction they get.

You are right abour ebooks finding their feet. I've got a Kindle, and to be honest I am very disappointed in the available content - it's mostly classics, which you should be able to get for free, but which Amazon charges for. With the Sony products I understand you get a big library of classics for free, which is how it should be. So maybe the ebook market has a need for a format that can't be read on paper?
