Just a note to any of you considering submitting to the children's department at the LAW Agency.

I received this pre-printed card this morning after a very quick turn around (2 weeks), 'we very much regret that we are currently unable to consider any new children's submissions'.

This coincided with reports that I read yesterday that their children's agent, Phillipa Milnes Smith, had taken leave of absence from the AAA as President due to ill health. Not sure if this is the reason for the postcard (or if it's a standard rejection?), but if it be the case, wishing her a quick recovery.
