I wondered if anyone had come across the two agents below. I'm curious because both say they will accept e-mail submissions, both are listed in the WAAYB, but neither appear in the WW directory.

Both agencies started up fairly recently - in 2006 - which may be why they're not in the WW directory.

One thing to bear in mind is gay fiction is a niche sub-genre. It is worth checking out authors of similar books and seeing who represents & publishes them.

Just a little point. The MC in my novel is gay but it's not really gay fiction and it's certainly not targeted at a gay readership!

Check out the Absolute Writer site - eg google on something like, 'Absolute Writer Diane Banks' - i pick up lots of interesting threads from there about people discussing specific agents. In fact i think i recently picked up one about Diane...

I sent an email query to the McKernan agency last September and I've heard nothing since so I guess that's a "no thanks".
