Just wanted to ask members for some help.

I'm writing a piece for a writing magazine about schemes for aspiring writers such as MacMillan, NRA New Writers' Scheme, Authonomy.

Can anyone point out legitimate schemes around that seek manuscripts and offer some potential avenue to publication?

MNW is more of a slightly unusual model of conventional publishing, I'd have said, which is a rather different thing from those manuscript display sites.

Mentoring's different again. I think some local Arts Councils have competitions/sponsorships - I think I'm right in saying that some have teamed up with Adventures in Fiction to provide mentoring:
