Anyone know of any agents that take email submissions? I'm just compiling a list of people to approach and just interested to see who takes email submissions (kinda matches my green ethos so would be good to work with someone like that).
Thanks, Tracy

Eddison Pearson take email submissions: submissions@eddisonpearson.com
Double check whether the agents accept attachments or not. Eddison Pearson do, but some only ask you to send a request to see if they are currently accepting submissions, and will not open attachments.

Wade & Doherty take email submissions. So does Simon Trewin at United Agents (and probably other agents there too).
However, when I was submitting, I actually found personal email addresses for the agents I was interested in (look on the UK section of www.everyonewhosanyone.com) and emailed them upfront with a short pitch and a request to send them my material. The vast majority replied and asked me to send it in by email. So you might find that even if the agency isn't listed as taking email submissions, if you take a personal approach you might end up submitting by email anyway.
(As a caveat, I think some people on here have had negative experiences with this approach - some agents not liking to be approached personally by email in this way - but it worked for me!)

Thanks. Eddison Pearson don't ask for a synopsis - just a writing sample (about 2 chapters). Does that mean I don't send a synopsis and just send the 'sample'?

Diane.. ooh, begins with B - Banks? Becker? It's in the WAAYB
The Marsh Agency (I think - might need to check on their website).

I'm never convinced email subs get the same attention though. In fact, i think caroline S says she prefers it the other way.

At last glance Eddison Pearson weren't accepting any more subs. You must e-mail first and then you get a reply back, automated.

Thanks, they still want new subs so that's good. :-)
