Thanks Naomi. Traveller - I'm not sure what the first half of your sentence has to do with the second.

    Hi Terry

    I have really enjoyed this.

I have read through all of this thread and frowned in places and laughed in others. I am a new writer and my novel is still in my head. So to read about routes to publishing is very interesting. However, I hope I never get to the point where I submit my hard earned cash (£500) to an agency for critique. I do hold my hands up at this point because I know I have my rose tinted glasses on and only time will tell (once my word churn has morphed into a novel).

Once again Terry thanks for the information and everyone else for providing an insight into getting an agency report.

Happy Christmas everyone and I look forward to reading and trying to contribute to your interesting posts in the New Year.

    Millions of people
    Swarming like flies round
    Waterloo Underground.
    But Terry and Waxy
    Cross over the river
Where they feel safe and sound.

    And they won't
    Need no friends.
    Long as they gaze on
    Waterloo Sunset
    They are in paradise.

(Waterloo Sunset's fine...) [repeat to fade]
