Yeh, the BF rejection stung at first but i did order the book (not from them though, got it cheap on Amazon) and actually thought it was worth the money. I know she wrote it, but sometimes i think we forget that some agents are out to help us.

Casey, just looked to see if your new version was up - is it because you can only upload once every three days or something? I found that if I went into Owner Edit I could 'manually' change big sections.
Am out for rest of day but will look again later.

Have you posted them yet, Susie? I remember standing by the postbox for ages, not being able to let go of the envelopes because I knew that as soon as I did, I'd realise I hadn't included the SAE or that there was a typo in the first line...

Hi Susie, I just read the prologue and love it. Especially the swimming costume losing its stretch. You know what I think - make it gooder and gooder until it's the goodest you can make it. It looks pretty damn good to me.

Only...my novelist's group have just been through the prologue and cut it by about half! And changed the beginning. And now I have to decide how much to cut it by, 'cos I think they're probably right.
By the time this novel's ready to go out, nobody'll be having plastic surgery any more, we'll all be virtually beautiful.

Just thought I'd add my two 'penneth and say that I too was rejected by BF! Maybe try a smaller Agency?
The rules re submissions are so contradictory too; it's so hard trying to work out what's the right thing to do. Be sure to check out each separate Agent's requirements carefully. The suggestion to send stuff out in batches is good too. It can get expensive, so make sure you're only sending it to appropriate places. It's all agony, but we have to do it. Good luck!
