I've been writing for 3 years and am just about to start my 4th (still unpublished).

Hi.

Editing -
I only have one Editor and we sat down and edited the book and then the copy editor looks at it for things that are missed (and we had missed a few things!) and then someone else gives it a look too... Phew!

Printers-
I was lucky enough that my Editor suggested we go to the printers - I think she appreciated how madly enthusiastic I would be about that! She's a really good Editor and the book means alot to the both of us.

Blog - (www.upadiary.blogspot.com VS www.lolajaye.com/blog)
I wasn't an 'unpublished author' anymore so thought it best to change Blogs! Also, I wanted to make it more personal with my name, so used the Blog attached to my website so that everything becomes uniform.

Lola this is a wonderful achievement and as you say, just goes to show that you should never give up! Enjoy every moment of the publication process.

Thanks so much to you all for your positive comments! And feel free to ask questions - although I can't promise to reply that quickly - especially during busy moments! After a month off to enjoy the 'new author' moments, I'm back at the day job tommorow!
