... Publication day was 1st July and it has been the maddest two weeks of my life. But I am merely going to say this' DON'T GIVE UP!!!! Keep going, guys. Write. Write. Write. It doesn't usually happen overnight (It didn't for me). But keep going.
Thats all I wanted to say.
Oh and feel free to buy my first published novel By The Time You Read This... (Harper). Out NOW in all bookshops and large supermarkets!!!!

When my publishers said they would take me to the printers to have a look at my book being published, I was absolutely thrilled. It was an amazing moment -watching all those books!
Believe me when I say there was a lot more screaming than what was shown in that video!

Actually I didn't (sorry!) - I was off crutches for the first time in a week and was determined to get what I needed and then get out. It looked good though, so I doubt it'll be long before it's balancing on the To Be Read pile! Hope sales are going well.

Sales are going well. And the response has very much touched me. Some of the entries on my Guestbook (www.lolajaye.com/guestbook) make me want to cry. I just didn't know the book would touch people as it has - especially as I was writing it for me.
