Hi all.

Just wanted to share this. My short story 'A Little Black Rain Must Fall' has been accepted for publication by the US and international online cyberpunk magazine (phew what a mouthful) Neometropolis. It will be the lead story in their October issue and I'm being paid the mighty mighty sum of $25 for it!

I'm extra chuffed because this is the first time I'd ever have been paid for my writing (I'll frame the cheque). With Thirteen mag, it means I'll also have two shorts out there in my favourite month. Huzzah!

I also wanted to thank everyone at WW who commented on the piece and helped make it what it is - pulp schlock!

Add a couple 0's on the end of that 25, and those are the type of checks that magazines will be stroking for you soon. Give it a couple years. My prediction: You will have a story featured in The New Yorker by 2008.
