Glad I made you laugh Nahed, that in itself is a sacred act for me. My father (who was fluent in Arabic - Oman & Saudi), was a great exponent of the Tahiyyat. Whenever I saw him, and whenever I left him he would always say: God bless.
His last ever words to me were: 'God bless...'
I don't feel that this 'God' is unique to Christians or Muslims or Hindus or anyone. We are all so alike and so connected in our own humanity and compassion that I find it astonishing that some of us still feel obliged to kill on behalf of the one with the hat - woops no, sorry, the one with the funny trousers- no, the one with the turban - no, the one with the long hair and the moustache - no, the one with the white robe, etc. etc.
I think God is in us, if we want him to be.

(But he's fucking not in the following agents: DELETED FOR LEGAL REASONS)

    Best

Oh, I'm glad I didn't watch The Passion in the cinema, Dav...oh, I would've been an embarrassment! Besides, I would've missed a lot of things because I was crying so hard that I had to pause the DVD to get tissues and calm myself. In the privacy of my room, watching it on my laptop - even the bowl of midnight cereal went soggy.

I have to admit that I lost myself in the story and I didn't see the 'actor' Jim whatsisname until...the scene where Jesus was making that 'tall' table when I thought...phwoar Mister, you aint 'alf bad, and immediately I stopped myself because it felt wrong! This is Jesus! I can't fancy Jesus! But of course it wasn't - but you get my giste. I was admiring the actor's face and physique. I realised then the wisdom of a certain Islamic teaching that the faces of the prophets (all prophets not just Mohammed pbuh) should not be portrayed in drawings or by actors.

The Message is a movie made about the life of the prophet Mohamed and there is no actor in place. The camera is the prophet and so people would talk to the camera in the film when they're addressing the prophet. I saw the movie a long time ago when I was a child, when I couldn't really appreciate it, but I did find it odd that there was no actor and when I asked about it - that was what I was told. I thought it was a bit over the top back then, but it is so strange how after so many years, things happen that make sense of it all. I understand now and it feels good to make sense of revelations no matter how minor they may seem. It comes as an affirmation of faith to someone who perhaps was beginning to lose their way because of life's circumstances.

So, saying that, I suppose what I experience now and think of as 'over the top' or 'not right' i.e. the rejection, the struggle, the destruction of dreams will make sense in the future? And I'll start to feel good again. I hope so. God willing.

And Sion, may God bless your father and keep him close 'Ina lilah we ina elayh raji'oon' - to God we belong and to Him we return.

Apologies if this is getting too heavy!

Someone pass wind, quick! Oh, I forgot, the agents already have.

    Lots of lurve and blessings

    Nahed x
