Hi Guys,
It has been some time since my last post, because things have really been moving fast...
The manuscript arriving at Harper Collins. My meeting with the editor. Accepting their offer. Signing the contract. Rubbing my eyes and realising that it wasn’t all a dream…

And now...

Updating my blog (http://www.upadiary.blogspot.com). Meeting with the Publicist. Editing manuscript. 9.30- 5.30 at the 'day job'. Beginning new novel (untitled). Meeting with the Editor. Seeing the book cover (wow!). Building my new (and very pink) website. And writing a monthly column for http://www.trashionista.com

At times it has been hectic, but I will not have the audacity to complain. It's what, as an unpublished author, I had been striving for.

But it's great to be back! (Even though I now have a dodgy chest cold that is rather annoying. I don't even have the will to write!)

Oh and another thing, I'm still testing out the website facilities and would be really grateful if a few of you could sign up for my newsletter. so I know its fully functioning!

But I would move this to a more well-read forum if you want to illicit responses and drive more traffic to your site. Try the Private Members forum.

Sounds fab - living the dream. Great looking website - always good to see an author photo too. Are you putting the cover on there?

Thats the thing about being a writer (as I'm sure you both know) you develop the thickest skin!
