It looks like a good mag doesn't it Darryl? It kind of reminds me a bit of 'weird tales'. Its really good to see someone releasing a dedicated horror mag in the UK again.
What issue are you in? I've been told I'm in one of theg October issues, but I'm actually going to subscribe I think, so I'll look out for your story.

Yeah,
Looks pretty good, nice artwork. I'm not 100% sure if it's the standard A4 format or something a little smaller. I have these expectations of a big glossy mag, but I may be mistaken LOL
I'm in september, which, funnily enough, is going to be issue nine. (Stupid me had to check)
Apparently they release two issues in october to make up the 'Thirteen Issues' so it may be worth checking whether you're in 10 or 11.
Then again, if you subscribe, it doesn't matter.
Exciting times huh? It's just the waiting that does my head in LOL.
Best.

Well done James and Daryll too, I hadn't seen your piece of good news before.
I'm intrigued by this thirteen magazine though, a monthly horror mag? Give me more details, please!

Not quite sure how I managed to do that twice, with four minutes between each...? ;o)

Thanks Darryl, sounds interesting.
I think at the start of next month (pay day) I'll subscribe for 6 months to see what I think.
I was particularly interested to read this bit:
In fact, we are hoping entries will be as varied and as twisted as you can make them, touching on other genres ranging from sci-fi to comedy.

Great news, James.
Looks like you're on a lucky streak. I'd be sending loads of work out to everyone i could think of, if i were you.
They do say good luck comes in threes,

Thanks. I'm still waiting to hear about two other stories I've submitted to other magazines, and back from an agent about another novel, so yeah, I am going for it at the moment

Well done James, really thrilled for you. You know I loved that story.

Ta Jubbly, it was partly your encouragement that made me send it out

Oh James what a sweet thing to say, let's face it, you can't win it without being in it.
Kind regards
Jubbly
