I am not worthy.
It's so great being amongst other writers... no one else seems to understand the process. The writing, the focus, the 'ideas' notebook, the ever expanding writers bum, rejection slips, the day job, the waiting, the expectation, the longing, the daydreams. The joy.

BIG Congrats Lola - I'm new here but my ms is doing the rounds for the past year and I admire your perseverance. If not for the positive feedback from some agents and a couple of top ones I'd find it tough to continue. Enjoy this richly deserved moment after all those lonely hours - you're there between those covers! I'll look it up and best with the rest of your writing career

And yes it does all help. Every single positive comment is worth 5 rubbish ones! Only in publishing can a one line, hand written scruffy sentence on a standard typed rejection letter bring so much hope. .. I remember around 5 years ago one agent BOTHERED to write back to me on one and this spoke waves of positive volumes.

So yes: NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP

Well done. It's a huge achievement.
