Thanks Dee. That looks very interesting. Does anyone know exactly what a hook line is? Is it just a sentence to hook readers into the work? Shouldn't the writing do that?
Yes. It's a long shot for all the other 119,500 words to impress, but whatever the eventual outcome, this has cheered me up after a weekend of groaning into the keyboard saying "I'm crap, I'm crap."
And as a result of the Snowcase, I've also just had a request from Jane Judd for the first three chapters & synopsis. At least the first 500 words must be OK - I just hope they don't think it starts to suck round about word 501.
