I can't drive - I have some sort of driving phobia, I think.

Would love to come to this event but doing something far less interesting instead - will definitely buy the book though, seeing as I do wanna-be-a.

Myrtle - I can drive, inasmuch as I passed my test, but I'm rubbish.

I'm sure I only passed because I told my driving examiner that I was a bit deaf and he pitied me.

I'm not deaf, but he did have a ridiculously quiet voice. Was worried I wouldn't hear the cue for the emergency stop.

I'll also be buying Jane's book. Wish I was going to the launch but I live in the back of beyond, alas.

Launch was fab - Emma D was there, Katie Fforde, Bernadine Kennedy, Kate Harrison, Judy Astley, Sarah Duncan' Adele Parks and loads more.

Got my book signed by everyone - read it on the train on the way back - highly recommended.
