Esteemed colleagues
The April/May issue of Eclectica is up on the web, and it carries an interview with R.N.Morris, author of A Gentle Axe. R.N. is perhaps better known to us as Roger Morris. The interviewer was Jim Younger (JoPo)

What a fantastic interview! Absolutely fascinating: huge congrats to both.
Roger - I hope you'll post the link on your website, or even the interview itself.

Well done to both of you.

Yes - what a fascinating interview - congratulations to you both!
Any chance of Mr Morris interviewing Mr Younger - might be fun?

Thanks Emma and Lammi - and nice idea Sarah, but we don't want to give the impression of a cabal! Some day, perhaps.

Big thanks to Jim for flagging this and, of course, for coming up with some fantastic questions. I'd also like to thank Paul Beadle who volunteered to do the interview but Eclectica's deadline was a little too tight to allow an arc to be shipped to SA, so Jim stepped up to the mark and did a sterling job.
Thanks everyone for checking it out!
Roger.

Oh and by the way, I did pitch me interviewing Jim Younger and Elizabeth the interviews editor of eclectica has agreed it in principle. We just have to pick a good time. Jim's feeling was that it would be a bit too soon if it followed in the next issue.
Roger.

Roger - a colleague at work said to me she'd read the interview - and went out at lunchtime to buy the book. Say not the struggle naught availeth!

Haha! Nice one Jim. By the way, Elizabeth was talking about autumn (fall) for me interviewing you. Should give me some time to think up a few questions.

Rog - ah, thassgood. I look forward to an intelligent conversation. And I could do with a publicity refresh. Who knows - maybe by then the Vintage paperback edition of High John (3 May) will have shifted a few units.
