I've been selected as Author of the Month by Zumaya Publications. My novel Unrequited is released in June, one of three books launching their new imprint, Boundless, and my novel has somehow become the flagship book. Gulp.

They've just sent me my first official interview to complete. Twenty three questions, ranging from my background to what book has had the most impact on me. It's all a little daunting.

And you'll have to get used to the forms - they come with the territory!

Well, I took a look at it last night. I didn't have to answer all 23 after all, but select 10 and answer those ones. That was a relief, because some of the questions seemed a bit daft (such as 'do you have any favourite foods' - I mean, who cares?), so I could pick the ones I felt more confident of answering.

Casey, the most difficult one by far was 'tell us about your life, how you came to be a writer, and why you wrote this book'. It was hard to get the background across without it sounding like a sob story or stepping on anyone's toes, but I think I managed it eventually. Took until 3am this morning though!
