Thanks Roger. I actually see it as something of a payoff at the moment, like loading bricks onto the high end of a see saw. Eventually, something has got to give.

What I also found amusing the other night was reading back through some early published stories. There's at least three of them that I wouldn't see published anywhere else now, so I guess as long as we're progressing, we're all getting somewhere.

Whoops. It took Aphelion magazine six whole months to get back to me, and I'd forgotten that I'd submitted this story to them as well. Now they want to include it in their 10th Anniversary edition. Of course, I've explained the situation to Twisted Tongue, and hopefully they'll let me replace the story with another one.

Either way, it'll see the light of day, so that's something!
