    That's worth knowing, Fredegonde. I'm not sure what difference it would have made, you living abroad, if you were including the postage anyway.

    I think i'm going to stick with asking them to destroy the script if it's not suitable, and as for the recycling part, well, just hope that they dispose of the paper responsibly. Ours gets shredded for the rabbit hutch, so my bunnies are very well read

    I used to give my old pages to the children as scrap paper, until I realised my 3 year old was painting on the back of a very explicit sex-scene. It wouldn't have mattered, as she couldn't read, except that she liked showing her pictures to visitors...

    LOL, Emma! I don't think my bunnies would bat an eyelid at one of my sex scenes...

    Might be the living abroad thing Caroline Sheldon states if living abroad they will email a response as they find IRCs messy. I've never tried to buy an IRC I buy a pile of stamps when I'm in the UK but I recently asked a US agent to send me email even though their website said they wanted IRCs for international submissions but I just said email me and they did fair enough. I was wondering if they would get mad but they didn't.

    Alexandra, sorry it took me so long to reply! I live in the impossibly glamorous Finland

    Yes, now that I think of it, I'm sure they were thinking of IRCs when they answered my question. They're not only messy but also hard to find nowadays, at least here.

    <Added>

    The latter 'they' being IRCs rather than agents! Though I suppose the right agent is hard to find, too...

    I always wonder if they're in English too, i.e. if I bought one here would it be in French? I can't imagine an agent really lovin' that.

    Finland eh, does sounds glamourous....
    My bf is Danish.
