BBC Southern Counties Radio has just invited me to be a guest on the Saturday Breakfast Show next Sat 16th 7.30 -9.00 when I shall have the opportuinity to 'talk about Pets in Prospect and chat about the day's newspapers'. Imagine. The opportunities could be endless for plugs. <g> eg 'I say! The book reviews in The Times and Guardian don't mention Pets in Prospect yet'.
But seriously, all that great advice you gave me last week I will study again and attempt to put into practice. Be switched on and tuned in. But I can still hear myself starting to dry up and uttering utter garbage until Sarah Gorrell cuts in to stop me gabbling on regardless. What a Carry On! But then I don't sound like Kenneth Williams for nothing.

Well, Wogan, first and now local radio. Careful - remember what happened to the Vicar of Dibley and Alan Partridge! Well done. You’ll soon be an old pro at media matters.

Thanks Michael. I must remember to try and keep level headed. I just hope in doing these I'll learn not to worry too much in advance. At the moment it's all so new to me. Before last week's radio interview I was awake half the night fretting about it. And felt like s*** for the interview and sounded like a frog about to croak.
