London Book Fair runs from 5th to 7th March, but they are hosting four Arvon Foundation supported masterclasses tomorrow, 4th March. There are two writing fiction masterclasses, one writing for the screen and one writing for children class. I'm going to be going to the writing for screen masterclass, which has presentations by Amy Jenkins (This Life), Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons and Total Eclipse), Deborah Moggach (the recent Pride and Prejudice adaptation) and Tim Firth (Calendar Girls and Kinky Boots). The classes will be held at the Excel exhibition centre at Docklands and each class costs £25 or £45 for two. Full details here.
