  • UK literary websites/blogs?
by rogernmorris at 09:03 on 25 February 2006
Apart from ww members' websites, which got their own thread courtesy of EmmaD, anybody know of any good literary websites or blogs that are UK based, rather than US? I was just interested in checking a few out, to see whether any would be willing to review my book.

    Any help would be appreciated.

(I know about the Grumpy Old Bookman and Splinters.)

    Ta,

    Roger.

I've got a feeling I've posted this in the wrong place - sorry.

Don't know if this is UK based but I used to look at something called 'Litopia' before it shut down all access to non members. You have to pay now for all but the briefest scraps under the heading 'Peek' but they are totally unrevealing. It seemed to have an agent on board who made useful comments so might be worth a try. It was early days for them so they might have developed and because I didn't join I couldn't access their confidential 'Ask the Agent' which to judge by the visible comments he made might be good. It didn't look as though it was going to be as good as Write Words but that's maybe unfair as it was new.

Sorry - ignore this. I didn't read yours carefully enough. Litopia is for aspiring writers - it isn't as far as I know a review forum
