Hi there
I'm new to this place, so "Hi" to y'all.
Basically being a bit clueless I may have put this in the wrong place.
Can anyone give me pointers on who you approach and how you go about putting together a proposal for a TV programme. This includes script samples and outlines for the pilot and subsequent programmes (or does it, if you get my drift?).
I'm not totally naive, just curious, as I have written screenplays for short films and am working on a feature, I know about that stuff until its dribbling out of my ears, but after watching that Cra-yay-zy time travelling police thing on the Beeb last night couldn't help turning my ideas into TV shows. The age of the High Concept TV drama programme could well be on us, so an interesting opening perhaps?
Anyway, so if anyone could give any advice or share any tall tails I'd be greatly appreciative and will buy them a Twix.
Thanks
Space Cadet

Hi Space Cadet, don't know if you've come across the BBC Writersroom site, but here's a link to the TV series/serials/episodic stuff, with guidelines on exactly what to send in. Might be a start?

There's tons more info on that site generally about what all BBC departments want submitted at

Good luck
