    Hi guys,

I've been hanging around this forum for a little while trying to sap up as much advice about embarking on my first work of fiction.

Unfortunately with work, the pub and TV absorbing my every waking hour I've never managed to settle down and focus on the task.... Then it occurred to me. Why not compile a book? Not just any book, a global book.

Much in the way we used to write those stories at school where one person would write a few lines then pass the page on to someone else who would write a few more lines and pass it on and so on and so on...

...hopefully we end up with and entertaining and imaginative work of fiction.

Please check out http://www.freewebs.com/globalbook and let me know what you think.

    Mike

Apologies If you first read this in the fiction forum, I think this is a more relevant forum for it.

Hmm, isn't that a bit lazy. Perhaps lacking in imagination. Surely you didn't get writers block after one paragraph, Mike.

    Now that's just cynical.

Let me know when you've added your few lines, IB.

If it's 'global' what's with all the crosses in the graphic on the site? Won't this put off, oh I don't know, Muslims and Jews, to name but two? So what's the game? Is this some kind of cult, trying to tap the unwary through the power of narrative?

Questions, questions. Sorry to sound challenging.
