Is anyone a member? Is it worth joining?

Side issue: I realise now that one reason I don't post outside PMs and the lounge much is because the forums often don't seem suited to what I want to post - I mean, this is not a question about inspiration & ideas, but it doesn't come under any of the other headings either...

I'm not a member - I think the membership is largely readers and aspiring writers, though obviously there is an overlap. I am a member of the Historical Writers Association, which has been set up to be like the CWA and the RNA, for professional authors.
