Around this time of year some of us embark upon NaNoWriMo, 30 days of literary lunacy - kick your inner critic out, and write a novel as fast as you can in 30 days.

FFD is proposing it's own unofficial NaNoWriMo - same principles, but you'll get lots of encouragement and support from a fantastic group. Please sign up to the FFD group if you want to join the madness. There's only 11 days left to the 1st November and all matters of mayhem.

So come on, crawl out from whereever your hiding, give yourself a kick and join up.

Ooo, that sounds so inviting. But will the second draft of my current WIP ever speak to me again if I give it a month's break? Then again, it might be so pleased to see me when I get back to it that it will perform some magic!

Now you've wickedly put the idea in my head I might not be able resist. But whatever, I'll certainly be cheering on anyone who goes for it! There's nothing like the sheer rush of a fast first draft!

Hmmmm, you're tempting me to do it now...
