  • Amazing opportunity for Scottish writers
by Anna Reynolds at 09:41 on 20 January 2011
This place is just sheer heaven- I went there a few years ago to do some writing/workshopping with actors and had the best time- sheep on the roof, views of a loch...just gorgeous and eccentric enough to keep you on your toes.

In 2011 Cove Park offers at least two Scottish writers the opportunity to spend six weeks each at COVE PARK to pursue their own work in the company of artists from across all the art forms.
We invite applications from individuals living in Scotland who write in any form, including prose (fiction and non-fiction), in poetry or drama.

Creative Scotland also funds a three month residency for an international writer whose stay will run concurrently with those of the Scottish writers, as will residencies in crafts, performing and visual artists, which altogether make up a community of ten people at any one time.
Each Scottish writer will be provided with a fee of between £300 and £400 per week to a maximum of £2,400 incl. VAT, accommodation on site (which includes a workspace), the support of Cove Park’s staff and access to all of the organisation’s facilities.
