Hey everyone

I have an idea for a fictional story, and I have everything worked out except for one minor think. Yep, a name.

The main character is a schizofraenic boy with 2 personalities.
The first and primary one is Terran, who is mentally scarred and weak, dependant, paranoid, helpful, friendy, quiet, a loner, and trusts almost nobody.
His counterpart (most of the time just the voice in his head) is about the exact opposite, and this is the character who's name I've been brainstorming over for weeks. He's powerful, mentally strong, can think without influences (emotions for example), determined, independant, mean, partially evil, will do anything to reach his goal.
I need his name to sound dark and powerful. If anyone can give me the name I need I'd be forever grateful

Terran has connotations of Earth, so how about Mars? A planet and also the God of War.

Or even Solar (Sun), Venous (derived from venus and blood).

What fun! How about Scorpio, or Scorpion? (Or Skorpius, or Skorpion). It has the undertones of menace, sting-in-the-tail, death-dealing, lurking.

Why not have a look at some baby names lists on the internet? (google 'baby names'.

Daray and Delano both mean 'dark one.' Ryu means 'void or dragon.'
Karan means tyrant.

Here's a fab site - there are others. I Googled evil names for a baddie in a kids story. Google has some great sources.

Sorry, possibly a bit more political than I intended, but...

Terran is a bit like Tehran and Chelsea has a culture quite different in many ways to that of Iran.

There is the obvious complication that Chelsea is a girl's name, but hey, if he's schizophrenic anyway, why can't he have gender problems too?

Alternatively, there's the letter reversal thing so you could have Terran and Narret... or more probably, Garrett.

Moving swiftly onwards...

Terror and calm leads to Terran and Callum.

Drake makes me think first of feeding the ducks, swiftly followed by games of bowls and the Armada...
