  • Is your New Year resolution to FINISH THAT NOVEL?

I don't normally do this, but if you really want a serious and dedicated course, I can recommend Shelley's courses:

Do you dream of a constructive and inspiring workshop environment in which your writing would flourish?
Novelist and experienced creative writing lecturer, Shelley Weiner, offers a new course of eight two-hour workshops designed for those with some fiction writing experience who are in need of critical feedback and support.
The course begins on Monday 14 January 2008 at 7pm and numbers are strictly limited to eight. It takes place in Highgate, North London, and the fee is £290. Only a few spaces remain.
For more information and/or for a registration form, please contact Shelley: shellweiner@btopenworld.com or 020 72817352

    Yes! Yes! Yes!

    Do I live in London?

    No! No! Doh!

Naomi, would you, and therefore would other people, be interested in an online version of this? I know there are lots of online courses etc, but I'm thinking specifically of ones that are run by people we know/can recommend etc, and if they haven't already suggested them, it may be that it simply hasn't occurred to them. I take your point about everything being Londoncentric so I'm opening up the debate, if there is one....? We run WW courses, but what Shelley does is perhaps more specific and intensive.

Yes, I would be very interested in an online version.

...designed for those with some fiction writing experience who are in need of critical feedback and support.
    Just what I need.

Would it still cost as much as the Highgate course?

That would give it the edge (as far as I'm concerned) over the OU, etc, online courses.
