Since Nietzsche died in 1900 you should be able to quote him without a problem - but don't take my word for it!

Yes, but is the translation still in copyright? Seriously, it was an issue with TMOL, and I ended up having to do my own translation of the piece in question instead in an hour or so.

Wow! Now that is interesting. Mad, but interesting. I would never have imagined that a translation of a piece of writing would in itself be the copyright of the translator - but now I see it, I guess it makes sense.

Holey Socks! This whole thing really is a nightmare. Anyway no worries I have re-written the story with out any quotes whatsoever, and re-submitted it. So hopefully tha will be the end of it.
