I know you shouldn't multiple submit with stories, but what about topical ones?

I've written an Easter story, and you know what magazines time scales are like. If I send it just to one and they dont want it, by the time I get a 'no thank you', it'll be too late to send it to another. So in this instance is it ok to send it to more that one mag?

You're selling a product. Pitch it to every mag you can think of and see who bites. Otherwise you'll be sitting here this time next year wondering which other mag to write to when you could have sold another ten stories.
