I've been half tempted to say in my letter "included is sample chapters, a synopsis and a fifty pound note--mums the word!" But apparently bribery is wrong. Political correctness gone mad, I tell you.

I remember reading this book a while back called Perfume, based around a serial killer who creates a perfume that is so powerful that it makes people fall in love with them--if ONLY that were the case, I could put a drop of it on my manuscript and get loads of offers. Oh well, back to the drawing board!
