I've recently posted chapter 18 of club_dominion and the Life Beta in the Novel I group. I'm considering restructuring the front end of the novel so that it kicks off with this chapter, i.e. chapter 18 is the new chapter 1. I've changed the setting so that this chapter can be read by all WW members not just my group:

I'd be really grateful for comments and thoughts on this, especially from those who've been reading the story but also from new readers. Does this feel like a first chapter of a novel about a woman struggling with a strange addiction? Does it land us in the action appropriately? Thanks in advance for all input.
