Try and make it clearer next time. Maybe say who it's directed at. You know, a name...? What are you scared of?
-
I'm not sure what you're implying, but my wit (what little there is) is limited to feeble chunks of inspiration, and I have a limited amount of time to commit it to words before it is lost forever. Therefore, in my haste, I forgot to mention that I was in fact referring to our beloved webmaster, Mr. Bruce, who posted two links, the former remaining as a link to something which is completely out of context.
My most sincere apologies for my sheer degree of ineptitude in this regard.
-
Now you're just showing off. Apology accepted.
-
phew!
It is funny how things get read in different ways by different people online. I had taken Insane's comments in the spirit he intended, but can see how it could be taken otherwise. I personally find those silly smileys (-; can really help convey things like sarcasm, even though they're probably a bit geeky
-
ooh look, I just earned another point :)
-
As if you don't have enough you filthy glutton!
And I hate smileys, and only use them when I think the possibility exists of me outrageously offending someone...
-
which, as I said, seems to be very often on the internet - for you or anyone
-
I am not sure if there is any point in commenting really so I wont
-
still not laughing
-
Just had a quick rub down with an oily rag and am feeling up for it. Come on then David the Bruce, insane bartender or what ever your name is, one at a time or all at once? Please...no smileys.
-
Insane Bartender slowly, carefully, unbuttoned his shirt, while walking forward in an almost menacing manner. He had waited for this moment for an age, and felt ready to burst...
-
...at last he could reveal himself for what he truly was...a girl.
I'm sorry there was no need for that and anyway I can hear my mother calling me in for tea. You can keep the ball.

Oh, Tweed, you lover. You could be anybody. I've had two strong virtual writing relationships with people whose gender I didn't know, and I love it like that. Both turned out, by chance, to be women. What I both like and fear about these strange friendships where you never see the person and their expressions is what? .... I've forgotten, but knew a couple of minutes ago. I met one of the women once who wrote to me for so long. I said I'd know her, a New Zealander, (my land), when she arrived at Paddington, she didn't have to describe herself, and I saw her right away. I've only blithered into this because I enjoyed all the talk before, a lot. More power to your elbow with your script writing.
-
Insane, you nutter, don't be so obscure.
-
I've never had a virtual relationship before, please be gentle with me it's my first time. You sound very nice, if a little mad.
