  • Second upload.

    Hi All at WW,

I have just posted a second poem; Untitled 3, in general poetry.

Can anybody tell me, is there a limit to the amount of work that may be uploaded? Also, is it necessary to introduce each time or will people find them anyway. I rather feel like I am putting on a fanfare this way.

    Thank you.
    Iggy.

    Fanfare away, Iggy.

You can upload work once every two days. This is a new rule which some people are finding a little restrictive. Others (like me!) are using it to their advantage so they can blame the rule for the fact they haven't written a story about a dead parrot.

It's strange but, now you've asked the question... most poets don't seem to announce poems. Us prosers use any excuse to trumpet our achievements.

    ee.

    Cheers for that Dee,

I think once a month would probably do me, if I didn't have such a backlog. I'm not exactly prolific!

I posted a reply to tc on my first thread, part of which could have been sent to either of you. I refrained from posting it to both but, if you're interested, it's there.

I'm showing my lack of education I know (school and I didn't get on), but... Is a prose any form of short writing that is not a poem? My dictionary doesn't make it clear. Only I've written a couple of... well... philosophical statements, I suppose. One of which is no longer than paragraph. I'm just not sure what they are or what to do with them!

Sorry to ask so many questions straight off. I would like to know roughly what I'm talking about though.

    Iggy.

    PS. Aah, the dead parrot.
