Hi. This is my first posting to WW as I'm fairly new here. Any comments on my work just uploaded to the Poetry 1 group (Bad Dream No. 1) are welcome and appreciated.

A few words of warning:

If you don't like alliteration you may wish to steer clear - I've made rather a sledgehammer use of it.

Also one or two of the longer words may seem extraneous and could necessitate the use of some sort of anti-sickness pills.

Not a poetry person myself (last time someone said something like that it stirred up a bit of a storm) but there are plenty about, many of them willing to give you the benefit of their expertise!!

Hi, John. Thanks for your reply and your message of welcome.

Being new to the WW community (and new to posting to forums in general) I suppose it will take me a little while to work out where I should be posting messages about uploaded work. There seems to be a choice but I wasn't sure whether I should be posting to the general forums as well as to the Poetry forums.

I guess I'll get the hang of it soon.

Have you joined any of the writing groups? They're a good place to start - and they are a bit smaller and perhaps, therefore, easier to handle. If you see what I mean!
