I dont usually introduce my work on here, but I thought I would expand on the intro to my poem. Those of you who know me, know I have a strong social conscience and earlier this week I recieved a mail shot from the YWCA, highlighting the plight of young women who are forced into living on the street and many into prostitution. I think it is a failing of society that anybody should be forced into such a life regardless of circumstances.My poem may not be the answer especially as it is perhaps a male's perspective, but if it helps one more person be aware of the plight of these youngsters then it has served a purpose.

Strange world isn't it I write a humorous poem in a few minutes and it receives more comment and thus one presumes visits than this more serious work.

Does that tell us something about choices and preferences or does it mean I posted his at the wrong time
