Hello,
I stumbled across this website while researching creative writing and i have found it really interesting and enjoyable so far.
Basically i am uni student studying English and i have the chance next term to take a module in creative writing which i would love to do. However i am not sure if i am any good or if it is a waste of time me doing this.
So therefore i would be really grateful if people could read a poem i wrote a while back and if is any good as basic start or not.
I have also written some fictonal pieces but as temporary member could only add one.
Many thanks for your time

Alicia, welcome to WW. It sounds as if you know your way around already, and I hope you've discovered how friendly and supportive everyone is (though things do get a bit heated in the Lounge, sometimes).
Maybe you shouldn't worry about whether your writing is 'good enough' for a CW module, but just seize the opportunity. A good course should start from wherever you are, and help you to get better by giving you tools and ways of thinking about what you're doing. Not all the workshops will be equally helpful; some comments will ring a bell, and some will be irrelevant (same as here, really). But I'm sure you won't regret it.
By the way, you might want to post a link in this thread to your poem in the archive, to make it really easy to find.
