Hi Dee - sorry, I should've said a bit more, shouldnt I!

I have been writing for a year or so, but have never shown any of my work to anyone before now (just a confidence thing).

I started to write a novel, got to around 20k words, and realised most of it was pretty poor! so I've been writing some short stories for practice - and you lot are the first people to see my latest effort!

Now, obviously, I would love to be a hugely successful author who makes billions from her work, but I'm realistic to know that this is unlikely to happen and so writing for the sheer fun of it will do!
